Alberta Election: CULTURE

dwr.jpgThere are two fundamental issues that Albertans must consider before Alberta’s election on April 16; issues about which we must think carefully, courageously, and completely. And when we’re thinking, we always need to start with facts, then think, then allow emotion, and then, speak, or act/vote.

The first issue is; where are Alberta (and Western Society) headed, culturally speaking?

The second is; where is Alberta headed economically?

This week; CULTURE. A few months ago we heard that 17 young people, in one school, in England, most of them autistic, were being groomed to change their gender, which could ultimately include having their genitals surgically altered. Parents were not to be told. Follow this link. Many child psychologists and researchers say that it’s child abuse, and it’s currently legal in Alberta.

In our radicalized sexual identity culture, some activist clinicians are recommending that little girls as young as 3 should be assisted to transition if they think they’d like to be boys. Parents are to be excluded from the discussions. Some clinicians are recommending that girls as young as 13 be allowed to have mastectomies. Parents are not allowed to interfere.

In Nova Scotia, children as young as 12 are being asked loaded questions, and then are being “scored” for their trans-phobia. The purpose is to teach children, and I quote: “… what thoughts and opinions are acceptable for them to think.”

Get that? Radicals in the LGBT movement are teaching kids what they are to think. This is right out of the Marxist/Fascist playbook and we tried those in the 20th century with catastrophic results.

Under Alberta’s NDP, our children are not safe from this. Dr. Kris Wells, a friend of Alberta’s Education Minister, David Eggen, oversaw the linking of pornographic sites to the taxpayer funded, Gay Straight Alliance, or GSA website. When confronted, Wells took them down, but then he attacked the mother who had found and objected to them, calling her “hysterical” and “sensationalist”.

Obviously, Kris Wells should never have a role in the education of our children. But last year, the Alberta Teachers Association, or ATA had Dr. Wells as their keynote speaker at a conference. Albertans should no longer trust the ATA, which is an all in supporter of the NDP. And Wells was never fired or reprimanded by Alberta Education, or the NDP.

In fact, now having legislated that parents must be excluded from their young children’s struggle with Gender Identity Disorder, the NDP is considering legislation that would bar adult gay and transsexual individuals from seeking transition therapy.

If someone tells you that transition therapy never works, they are either ignorant, or lying. I have met and talked to several people who have changed their orientation through psychological or spiritual counseling. And I had a transsexual friend who told me that his “gender reassignment therapy” was a terrible mistake, because it changed nothing.

So think about it. In Alberta, if a child wants to become a member of the opposite sex, the government will assist them, and, by law, exclude parents from even knowing what is going on. On the other hand, if an adult wishes to have transition therapy, it is almost certain that another NDP government will outlaw it.

Contrary to national, international, and even provincial law, the NDP government seems to believe that it is they who have a prior right to decide on the education of children, and, a right to override personal decisions made by adults. That’s TOTALITARIANISM.

So this Alberta election is extremely critical for the cultural and social health of the province, and for the safety of your children and grandchildren. If you are an Albertan 18 or over, you have a moral obligation to become informed, and to then get out and vote.

Next blog will be about Alberta’s declining FINANCES and the vanished Alberta advantage.

Trump, Transgender, and the NDP!

DW Blog

Recent issues of The Economist magazine included articles that suggest that they have decided to make some tentative steps back towards responsible journalism.

The first was about Donald Trump’s foreign policy, for which they still had plenty of criticism. But after much to-ing and fro-ing, there came this statement. “Mr. Trump’s foreign policy team appears to be working more effectively than some of its predecessors.” After double checking to make sure I was reading The Economist, I sent them a note congratulating them on their baby step back towards objectivity.

Then a couple of weeks later they featured a lengthy article on transgender-ism entitled: “The body of law”. This time, again contrary to my expectations, The Economist was exceptionally objective.

Transgender-ism has been around for a long time, but it’s always been regarded as a disorder. In ancient times, i.e., the 90s, it was actually believed that if you were born with male genitalia, you were a male, and if you were born with female genitalia you were a female.

Not so say the activists, and Alberta’s (current) government. If you’re a boy and you feel like a girl, well then, Bob’s your uncle and you’re a girl! And you get to use the girl’s washroom, and showers! Real girls feel uncomfortable about that? “Suck it up sisters” says Alberta’s oh so Progressivist government. (They also apparently think it’s okay for little kids as young as five to have access to websites telling them about things like 25 sex positions you can try at home, and how to give oral sex. But that was another blog.)

Children are under tremendous pressure, from people who should be protecting them,  to become sexually active, and to get involved in the Progressivist flavor of the month, currently, transgenderism. The Economist says, sensibly, that maybe we should proceed with caution.

It’s insanity, but some clinics in the United States are supporting gender transition; i.e., change of name, pronouns and clothing, for children as young as three. They’re recommending mastectomies for girls as young as 13. This is the stuff that should send you to jail, or a mental institution.

The American Academy of Pediatrics endorses this “hurry up and transition” approach, saying delay harms children unnecessarily. Then they cite scientific papers to justify their position, when those same papers actually refute their position. There is no credible research that backs their position, so they count on people’s ignorance on the issue to slide the lie past. I’ve read about AAP for years, and they’ve long since been taken over by radicals from the LGBT community.

The more scientifically minded American College of Pediatricians, (ACP), correctly calls the foolishness endorsed by the AAP, child abuse.

In Britain little kids are officially being taught that “Gender is much more than the body you were born with.” There’s a “Kids Guide to Gender Identity” for five-year-olds which tells them that, “Kids know a lot about themselves. They know who they are by how they feel inside.” So, 21st century Postmodernism has abolished gender identity disorder. Ignore that penis. If you feel like a girl, you are a girl!

trans-man-having-baby**How crazy can it get? Figure out the photo if you can.

And there’s the safety issue. Radicals want transgendered individuals to use the showers and change rooms that correspond with the gender they have chosen, not their genitalia. But surveys show that mixed sex changing rooms are where most sexual assaults happen. The Alberta government wants them in your school. Are you listening?

The Economist suggested that “To resolve the conflicts between trans rights, and the rights of natal women and children … (those who identify with their birth gender – parenthesis mine) … requires research, and reasoned debate”. I’d suggest that a small dose of common sense could resolve the issue more quickly.

And here it is, an Alberta policy spelled out by The Economist. “If a child expresses a transgender identity to a teacher, trans rights guides say that there is no need to tell parents.” But in Rachel Notley’s Alberta, a new law says that teachers can not tell the parents, even if they think they should.

Alberta’s current government has gone leading-edge lunacy on this anti-science, child abusive craziness. I suspect they’ll be thrown out in the next election.

In my view, they can’t be thrown far enough.

BTW, The Economist article included a piece on the JCCF, or Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedom. John Carpay and his team, and other organizations like Parents for Choice, are doing essential work, protecting our rights, and the rights and safety of our children. Please support them!

Let’s Talk Pigs

DW Blog

More than enough has been written about the battle over the appointment of the latest US Supreme Court Justice, Brett Kavanaugh. But if you’ll indulge me, I’m going to write just a bit more, mostly for my American readers. And a warning; to say what I need to say requires me to be graphic.

Two years ago, incomprehensibly to most people, Donald Trump was legally elected as the president of the United States, this in spite of him being the least presidential, presidential candidate in American history. One of the many strikes against him was his checkered, and often piggish past, when dealing with women.

Since his election, the Democrats, and their allies in the media and entertainment industries have campaigned to drive him from office, in part, because of that past. They’ve feverishly opposed everything Trump has attempted, mostly unsuccessfully, including their latest attempt to block the appointment of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, a man who they also tried to portray as “a pig”.

KennedysSo, let’s talk pigs; but proven pigs, starting with the Kennedy brothers; Jack, Bobby, and Teddy.

Immediately after his marriage to Jacqueline Bouvier, (Jackie Kennedy), Jack Kennedy resumed his nonstop philandering ways, and didn’t relent until his assassination. While President, he routinely engaged in sex with a wide variety of women, often in the White House.

One of the women that had an affair with Kennedy, while he was the President, was Marilyn Monroe. At one event, a birthday party for Kennedy with Jackie in the audience, Ms. Monroe who was wearing a sexy skintight dress, sang a sultry; “Happy Birthday Mr. President”, to Kennedy, to his amusement and his wife’s embarrassment.

The president’s brother, Robert Kennedy, the US Attorney General at the time, also had an almost simultaneous affair with Monroe.

Teddy Kennedy was the youngest of the three Kennedy brothers. While a Senator, he got drunk at a party, and while heading back to his lodgings with a young woman who was not his wife, drove his car off Chappaquiddick bridge. He managed to swim ashore, but leaving the young woman in his car, he walked into town while pondering how to limit the damage to his political future. He didn’t report the accident for 10 hours. The investigation found that the young woman ran out of air after several hours, and drowned.

In spite of their proven, appalling behavior, the Kennedy brothers remain among the brightest stars in the New Left/Progressivist firmament.

Lyndon Johnson, the vice president who assumed the presidency after Kennedy’s assassination, was a well known, aggressive womanizer who often boasted that he’d.. “had more women by accident than Kennedy had on purpose.”

ClintonsLast, but far from least, the Clintons. Beginning with his time as Arkansas governor, and continuing during his time in the White House, Bill Clinton was followed by a trail of credible accusations of rape and sexual assault. His wife and recent presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton accused Bill’s accusers of being trailer trash and liars. I thought women were always to be believed, especially by the sisters?

Of course, the highlight of Clintons’s philandering while President, was his lopsided relationship with Monica Lewinsky, a young White House intern over whom he obviously had huge influence. On at least one occasion he amused himself by inserting a cigar into her vagina. On another occasion, he left a semen stain on that famous blue dress. If you’re too young to remember, Google it.

All this piggery in the Oval Office, and those in the Progressivist Left say Trump has stained it, just by being there? And they’re puzzled why more and more ordinary people think they’re nuts?

Recently, Hillary the feminist icon, blew Bill’s Oval Office affair off with: “They were both adults.” People like Hillary should make us throw up, except, we’re getting used to it.

But Don’t. Get used to it I mean. There’s a commonality among these people, and that is, that they behaved like pigs, or abused women, while they were in the Executive Branch, or in the White House, or even in the Oval Office. Their other commonality is that they all are, or were, Democrats.

Make sure your Democratic friends are aware of this on November 6th!

An Important Political Story

Dave 07There are three candidates running for the United Conservative Party (UCP) nomination in the new Calgary riding of Peigan. One of the candidates is Jeevan Mangat. Another is Tanya Fir whose campaign manager is Craig Chandler, a man who has often been a controversial figure within Alberta conservatism.

For the most part I try to keep away from direct political commentary, but I think you need to know about this. It’s a local story, but the principles involved apply far more widely.

Within the past couple of months, Craig Chandler and the Fir campaign have expressed displeasure with an advocacy organization which I  support, and one which I know for a fact will not endorse any candidate from any party.

This organization informed the Fir campaign of their nomination engagement process which involves presenting hard evidence regarding some of the highly controversial and wildly unscientific ideas that are currently being promoted in Alberta’s school system. These information sessions are available to any group, or to the nominees of any political party that reaches out to the organization. So far, Craig Chandler and the Fir campaign have not taken advantage of this opportunity.

Another competitor for the UCP nomination, Jeevan Mangat, did choose to put on a campaign event at which this advocacy organization was invited to speak. For some reason, Mr. Chandler was displeased.

Indeed, Mr. Chandler was sufficiently displeased to leave  a 59 second voicemail with the organization. The organization never gave me a transcript of the voicemail, but I have since been made aware of it. In it, Mr. Chandler states that he is “ticked off”, and that there would likely be Tanya Fir supporters at the Jeevan Mangat event, voicing their concerns “very loudly,” whatever that meant.

Sadly, Mr. Chandler goes on to say in the voicemail that: “A lot of us who are Christians and who are supporting Tanya…..”

Is Mr. Chandler implying that Christians, as a matter of principle, shouldn’t support someone who isn’t a Christian? If true, I would find that appalling.

downloadI know Jeevan Mangat personally, and while he is an adherent of the Sikh religion, he’s told me, repeatedly, that he wants to live in a society which operates on Judaeo-Christian values. That’s why his family moved to Canada when he was a little kid. And because he is committed to saving that Judaeo-Christian ethos in society, he became involved in politics.

Although Mr. Mangat obviously doesn’t call himself a Christian, in my experience, he consistently conducts himself in what would be called “a Christian” manner.”

If you live in Alberta, or especially if you have friends or family in the new Calgary riding of Peigan, I’d suggest that you make sure that they get this information right away. The vote is this week, Thursday, August 2 at the Riverbend Community Association.

We certainly do need political and cultural change. What we need to end are sleazy, heavy-handed, old-style politics.

I’m Dave Reesor, and that’s my opinion. What do you think?

Jordan Peterson & the Speech Nazis

Peterson_Lecture_(33522701146)The anti-free speech, anti-freedom of assembly Progressivist Left is at it again. The target of their opprobrium is Prof. Jordan Peterson whose original sin was to insist that he would not submit to being ordered, by government, to speak certain words. In saner times he would have been lauded as a free-speech champion.

But we’re now living at George Orwell’s Animal Farm where we’re all equal, but some are more equal than others. Or in the current context: “Free speech for all, but only for you if you agree with me.”

So a bunch of Calgary’s Progressivist artistes have gotten together and begun circulating a petition to insist that Calgary’s Arts Commons cancel the July 27 event at which Jordan Peterson is the main speaker. Here’s some of what they say in their letter to Arts Commons.

“The dangerous ideas that Peterson stands and advocates for mongers hatred and discrimination against many of our staff.” But they failed to specify which of Peterson’s ideas are actually dangerous.

Personal note. I actually went to a Jordan Peterson event a couple of years ago when he was just starting to become famous, and since then I’ve watched a number of his videos and lectures. From what I’ve seen, only the clinically insane could be influenced by Peterson’s words to actually hate or harm anyone. Neither Peterson, or even these self important artists and academics incite me to hatred, but the latter’s totalitarian inclinations certainly incite me to disgust.

Because in another place in their letter they talk about “ideas”, but then they insist that Peterson’s insistence on his right to free speech subverts “ideas which are meant to protect, not be weaponized.”

** Weaponized speech is currently the handy-dandy-ist shriek-trigger for the Progressivist Left.

They go on: “Note that we are not writing this letter simply because we disagree with Peterson’s views; we feel that any individual or group of people, Peterson in this case, whose ideas and actions directly jeopardize the safety and freedom of others.”

This “danger to safety and freedom” is patent nonsense. In fact, Arts Commons says they must increase security for the sold-out event, because the Progressivist’s tantrum brigade are likely to show up. There is physical danger from them, and there is real danger to freedom of speech from the very artists and academics who, with breathtaking hypocrisy,  have forever insisted on their right to say, write, paint, and act out whatever they wish.

LandscapSo what’s next? Peterson has sold over 1 million books in the last six months, so is the Progressivist Left now going to organize a Peterson book burning? In the 20th century, the Left, operating under the banners of Communism, Nazism, Maoism and other Left-wing-isms, made book burning and book banning part of their modus operandi. And for good measure they killed 100 million of their citizens.

Unfortunately, the Peterson event is sold out or I’d strongly urge you to get tickets. But Peterson has some excellent videos on YouTube and they’re great for your millennial children or grandchildren who are struggling with what to do with their life. Peterson actually says that life’s tough, but well worth living with all you’ve got. He even says: “Do good.” Admittedly, that is old-fashioned thinking; its the thinking that inspired the pioneers that built this country over the past 200 years.

Peterson is certainly dangerous, but watch this brief video of him speaking, and then you decide who and what he’s dangerous to. And you’ll understand what all the Leftist, Progressivist, Fascist caterwauling is about. Peterson’s resuscitation of common-sense poses a mortal danger to their very existence.

Free Speech and the Left

Dave 07As you know, John Carpay and the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedom (JCCF) are in the forefront of fighting back against Progressivist attacks on basic human rights, including attacks on free speech.

Free speech used to mean that you could say anything you wanted, provided it didn’t promote or incite violence. Free speech even included hate speech, provided it didn’t promote or incite violence.

For example, you could say that you hated old white men, or even more specifically, that you hate Dave Reesor, and by the way, so should everyone else. In fact, I’d defend your right to say exactly that, in public and in private, or even to take out an ad in the newspaper advocating: “Hate Dave Reesor.” Only if you promote violence have you stepped over the line.

That’s free speech, or at least it was.

But now, in our “I’m a victim”, post-modern / post-rational new world, you can find yourself in trouble if you hurt someone’s feelings, or even say something that might hurt someone’s or some group’s feelings. And apparently, there are endless groups that are victims of white privilege, or ancient wrongs done to their ancestors, or some other debilitating grievance.

So we have endless groups that must not be offended; that is, with the exception of conservatives, practicing Christians and Jews, aboriginal Canadians and women who don’t vote Progressivist, etc.. In the United States, the old free speech rules apply to conservative women and conservative African-Americans; everyone else is a victim, and must not be offended.

John CarpayThis imbalance around free speech is enthusiastically abetted by most Canadian and American universities. In this short video, John Carpay explains exactly how universities are shutting down free speech. The JCCF believes in free speech, including your free speech; it fights unfair university policies, and it usually wins! If you believe in free speech, you should support them.

And if you haven’t already, it would be greatly appreciated if you supported us by becoming a member of the Let’s Do It Ourselves online community.

I think it was about a year ago that Meritha and I attended a weekend conference put on by the Canadian Taxpayers Federation and their Millennials wing which they call Generation Screwed; as in, the people in power are running up debts and will be leaving us the bill.

The keynote speaker was Jordan Peterson, and if you haven’t heard of him you haven’t been paying close attention to the cultural debate raging between common sense conservatives and the radical left, all across Western Society. And I mean worldwide Western Society because Jordan Peterson is possibly the biggest thing to come out of Canada since The Guess Who.

Peterson has dozens of videos on YouTube where he systematically and ruthlessly shreds all things Marxist. He’s already sold over 1 million copies of his book, 12 Rules for Life since it came out in January. And, his biggest appeal is to Millennials! Don’t tell me the situation is hopeless.

See the source image

I’ll let Barbara Kay take over telling you about him. She’s a great writer and also one of Canada’s leading intellectuals, and she has a very insightful and extremely encouraging article in the latest C2C Journal.

Have a great week!

Exposing Lies, and Totalitarianism

Dave 07Rather than a regular blog this week, I’m going to encourage you to watch the following two, very brief videos. One is by Theresa Ng of Parents for Choice in Education. The other is by John Carpay of the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedom.

Theresa exposes the lie that alternate schools are a financial burden on the public education system. The fact is, that it’s the opposite, by hundreds of millions of dollars. Follow this link to the video.

Theresa Ng

John CarpayJohn speaks about the fact that free speech is under broad attack by the Progressivist Left, including the Liberal Party of Canada. And it’s not just free speech; it’s freedom of assembly, and freedom of religion, that are also under attack. Follow this link to the video.

The Let’s Do It Ourselves (LDIO) online community is committed to encouraging, and assisting moderate conservative individuals and organizations to Cooperate with each other, Contribute regularly, and Communicate effectively.

Parents for Choice and the JCCF are two organizations that are doing critical work for you, your children, and your grandchildren, and I enthusiastically encourage you to support them, regularly.

And there are other excellent organizations that I will be referring to in the coming weeks. Unsurprisingly, I believe that LDIO at www.ldio.org is another one worth supporting. If you agree, please do. And thanks to those of you who already do!

Please accept …. my apology

Dave 07Back in the mists of time, 1960 to be exact, or prehistory to Millennials, Brenda Lee had a monster hit called “I’m Sorry”. One of the lines was: “I’m sorry, so sorry; please accept my apology.” With some slight modifications, it could have been the theme song for Canadian governments for the past 20 years or so.

Here’s the curve ball; I think apologies are okay, and even helpful if done sincerely, and properly contextualized.

In 1988, Prime Minister Brian Mulroney apologized to Japanese Canadians for their internment during World War II, and paid a symbolic redress. Japanese Canadians were wronged, although in the context of World War II, and with Japanese advances throughout the Pacific and even into the Aleutian Islands, paranoia was understandable, if not excusable.

In the 1800s, Chinese laborers/navvies were brought to Canada, and the United States, to build canals and railways. When the projects were completed, the Chinese men naturally wanted to bring their families to join them. In Canada they were faced with a $50 per person poll tax, which was raised to $100, and then $500. For decades, that tax successfully minimized Chinese immigration. In 2006, the Harper government apologized, and gave a token compensation to Chinese Canadians, or their descendants, for their mistreatment.

More recently, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has apologized to aboriginal Canadians who were abused in Newfoundland/Labrador residential schools. I believe it was appropriate, as long as we remember the context.

Not all aboriginal Canadians look back on the residential school as unremittingly negative. It also must be remembered, that in the context of the times, transportation from isolated communities was extremely difficult. Furthermore, it was sincerely, and to some extent, justifiably believed, that assimilation into white society would provide a better future for native children.

Obviously, the program went too far, and just as obviously, not enough care was taken to weed out the sadists and perverts that managed to insinuate themselves into the system.

Most recently, Prime Minister Trudeau has apologized to those members of the LGBTQ community who were abused under Canadian law, by the Canadian government. I happen to agree with that apology as well.

In 1963, at age 19, I moved to Calgary, from the tiny community of Consul Saskatchewan, where homosexuality was regarded – at least by me – as a myth. Being a hard-working farm boy, I soon got a job, and I made some friends among my colleagues. After about five months of wondering why Jack never wanted to go on a double date with me, the penny dropped, and I realized that homosexuality was real, and that Jack was homosexual. (The word gay had yet to be co-opted)

On a visit back to the farm, I told my dad about Jack. He was pretty sanguine about it, and said that he had known some homosexuals in the Air Force. He seemed to regard them as mostly regular people who had a significant psychological disorder, and I accepted that. I haven’t changed my mind.

But 55 years ago, disdain and abuse were part of everyday life for homosexuals. One Saturday evening, another buddy and I were out looking for something to do and we bumped into a group of three or four fellows our age. They suggested: “Let’s go to Memorial Park and beat up some fags.”

I didn’t understand them at first and when they explained what they were suggesting, I said: “Why would we do that? They have enough problems already.” My buddy and I went one direction; I don’t know where the other guys went. But reporting them to the police wouldn’t have accomplished anything; back then the police might’ve gone along for the entertainment, or even have joined in.

It got even worse, and I hate to say this, but I was talking about homosexuality to an older “Christian” man one day, and he said: “In my opinion, they should all be taken out and shot.” I was appalled, and I asked if he thought that would be Jesus’ attitude. I don’t remember his answer, but I’m still sickened at the memory of the conversation.

55 years ago, homosexuals who were quietly living their lives could be arrested and locked up. So when Pierre Trudeau said: “The state has no business in the bedrooms of the nation,” I agreed with him. But the fact is, that for years, the Canadian government did aid and abet and practice, indefensible abuse of what we now call the LGBTQ community. An apology for that was not out of line; it was the right thing to do.

Trans man having babyBut of course, there’s a ditch on both sides of the road, and we’ve gone from horribly abusing homosexuals, to mindlessly normalizing every sexual disorder imaginable, and insisting that it be celebrated. That’s intellectually and scientifically and socially dishonest, and if I do have a phobia, it’s about the intellectual dishonesty which itself has become normalized.

I always appreciate your opinions, positive or negative. And don’t forget to Like, or at least Share. It’s how social media works. And if you think it’s worthwhile, you can support our work at ldio.org.

Restoring Moderation

Dave 07There’s been a lot of talk lately about the need for a moderate conservatism. I agree.

Progressivist Conservatives often tell us that they are fiscally conservative but socially progressive, in other words, they are models of moderation.

What it really seems to mean in practice is that you must timidly support every  social initiative of the Progressivist Left, no matter how intrusive, anti-human rights, anti-family, anti-science, or, outright perverted.

The fact is that on most social issues, our society has completely abandoned moderation.

Because let me ask you:

Is it immoderate to oppose government initiatives that completely ignore the UN’s Declaration of Human Rights, which explicitly states that it’s not the government, but parents, who have a “prior” or first right, to decide on the education of their children?

Was it immoderate for Theresa Ng to reveal that Alberta’s taxpayer financed Gay Straight Alliance, or GSA website provided links to over 20 sexually explicit websites?

Kris WellsThat GSA website is approved for children ages 5 to 18, but Kris Wells the guy in charge, didn’t think Theresa’s concern was moderate. He called her hysterical and sensationalist. On what dystopian planet would you draw that conclusion?

Is it immoderate to affirm the scientific and biological, and obvious reality of two genders?

Is it immoderate to oppose government initiatives, that seek to normalize gender dysphoria in children, against the findings of science, and, simple common sense? Those initiatives constitute government sanctioned child abuse.

Is it immoderate for a politician to give a pass to Gay Pride Parades (LINK WARNING: severe stupidity on display)  – those Flasher Festivals where addled parents flaunt their Progressivist bona fides by taking their kids to gawk at naked men? In saner times, it would be considered child abuse.

Is it immoderate to point out the irrefutable scientific fact, that a human being’s life journey begins at conception, and that at no point is a fetus a part of a woman’s body. It is in her womb for protection and nourishment, but it has its own DNA, its own blood type, distinct heartbeat, and even personality!

Is it immoderate to insist that we need to have an honest conversation about abortion, and to enact a law to give the fetus protection after a certain stage of its development? Could we at least outlaw aborting baby girls, just because they’re girls?

The fact is, that it’s the current governments of Alberta and Ontario and Canada that are immoderate.

Most of the mainstream media is giddily proud of their immoderate social views.

Much of Hollywood is immoderate to the borders of insanity.

It’s past time for real moderates – that would be those of us who don’t ignore biology and science, and who have a high regard for observed reality – to make our voices heard, and call out the im-moderation of the Progressivist Left.

You can make your voice heard by joining these organizations. Theresa Ng, Parents for Choice: Donna Trimble, Informed Albertans, and John Carpay, Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedom.

Donna TrimbleTheresa NgJohn Carpay

And please help us, by joining the Let’s Do It Ourselves online community.

But, there’s a crisis in Alberta, right now, and it requires your immediate attention.

  1. Buy a membership in the Wildrose Party of Alberta; deadline July 8, and
  2. Buy a membership in the Conservative Party of Alberta; deadline July 12.
  3. Then on July 20-22, vote to Unite the Right.

Join both parties, online, for just $10 each.

Because Alberta’s Progressivist Left is actively encouraging their supporters to buy memberships, so that they can vote to stop the Unite the Right initiative.

We can’t let them. Common sense conservatives must unite or take the risk of another four years of Rachel Notley’s NDP; possibly the most radically immoderate government in Canadian history.

If you don’t get involved, the NDP could be in power until 2023, and you will regret it, because the cost to the finances and freedoms of your children and grandchildren would be terrible.

Please, join each of the parties right now, and on July 20-22, vote to unite!

Sincerely

Dave Reesor
