Rather than writing my own blog this week, I’m going to provide a link to an excellent article that should be read by every Albertan, and every Canadian, and every American, and every sentient citizen in the Western world. It examines the stark contrast between the intellectually chaotic and unrealistic world of modern Progressivist policy, against a carefully researched and analyzed political platform that should be a feature of every election campaign.
The article provides the most authoritative analysis of the recent Alberta election that you are ever likely to read. It’s 5 to 10 minutes long, and worth every second.
Mark Milke is an economist’s economist, and it was brilliant of Jason Kenney to get him involved early in developing Alberta’s United Conservative Party’s platform.
And since winning the election, the Kenney government has tasked an expert panel to develop a roadmap to get Alberta’s economy back on track. It is led by former Saskatchewan NDP, (yes, that’s N D P) Minister of Finance, Janice McKinnon, who guided Saskatchewan from fiscal ruin to balanced and surplus budgets. No matter whether you are a Jason fan or not, you must admit it was a brilliant managerial and political move by Jason Kenney!

It examines the stark contrast between the intellectually chaotic and unrealistic world of left-wing Progressivist policy, against a carefully researched and analyzed platform that should actually be a feature of every election campaign.

Rachel Notley and the NDP came to power in in Alberta four years ago. Here’s why we can’t allow them to have another four years.
The NDP inherited a mess in 2015, mostly caused by a collapse in world oil prices, and also the wild spending Progressivists in the former government. But while the petroleum industries in other jurisdictions around the world have long since recovered, Alberta’s continues to bleed investment and jobs due to the NDPs anti-business policies. Don’t believe Rachel Notley’s “fighting for pipelines” rhetoric. In fact, as recently as a couple of months ago, Rachel Notley hired another oil industry hating activist as an advisor to her government. Until her phony recent “conversion”, she’s always fought against Alberta’s petroleum industry. Under an NDP government, investment, and jobs will continue to go elsewhere, and, as used to be the case in Saskatchewan, Alberta’s youth will get luggage sets for graduation.
The NDP promised a balanced budget this year, and instead we are again facing a huge deficit, or annual shortfall, which will bring Alberta’s accumulated debt to nearly $50 billion. Almost all of that debt was accumulated under the NDP. Another four years of Rachel Notley and the NDP, and Albertans are facing a provincial debt of nearly $100 billion.Who will pay for it?
I’ve had this conversation with most of my grandchildren, and you might want to have the conversation with your children and grandchildren, because they’re the ones that are going to pay for Alberta’s debt.
Use this post if you wish.
You young people should know that $100 billion is $25,000 for every person in Alberta. But older people that are out of the workplace, like me, and even people in the later stages of their career, will not be around to pay that debt. It’s young people like you that will be responsible for our share of the debt as well as yours, so at the end of another four years of the NDP, your share will be closer to $30,000 to $40,000. That’s a degree, or a brand-new car, or a down payment on a house.
Young people have compassion for those that need help, and that’s a very good thing. But when taxes go pay interest on government debt, the money cannot go to help the needy; instead it goes to banks, and other lenders.
When a government’s debt gets out of control, here’s what happens. Justin Trudeau’s father, Pierre Trudeau (Justin’s father is on the right, his buddy Fidel Castro, a communist dictator, on the left), began putting Canada into serious debt in the late 1960s, borrowing as if money grew on trees. No government in the following 25 years tried to stop it, and by the mid-1990s, or 25 years ago, nearly 40%, or 40 cents of every dollar raised in taxeswent to paying interest on the debt, instead of being available for social programs. Finally, when Canada was about to go bankrupt, a Canadian government stopped reckless spending and started paying off the debt.
Now, 25 years later, Justin Trudeau is following in his father’s footsteps and borrowing Canada back into more debt, something he promised not to do, and something for you to remember this October when we have a federal election.
But Rachel Notley is doing exactly the same thing to Alberta’s finances and to your future. There’s an election tomorrow, and you need to think carefully about how you vote. Because federally or provincially, it’s about your debt, and your future.
Today, the day before the election, I’m happy to report that most of my grandchildren have voted, (the 16 year old is ticked off because 16 year olds can’t vote), and they voted for change,
There are two fundamental issues that Albertans must consider before Alberta’s election on April 16; issues about which we must think carefully, courageously, and completely. And when we’re thinking, we always need to start with facts, then think, then allow emotion, and then, speak, or act/vote.
The first issue is; where are Alberta (and Western Society) headed, culturally speaking?
The second is; where is Alberta headed economically?
This week; CULTURE. A few months ago we heard that 17 young people, in one school, in England, most of them autistic, were being groomed to change their gender, which could ultimately include having their genitals surgically altered. Parents were not to be told. Follow this link. Many child psychologists and researchers say that it’s child abuse, and it’s currently legal in Alberta.
In our radicalized sexual identity culture, some activist clinicians are recommending that little girls as young as 3 should be assisted to transition if they think they’d like to be boys. Parents are to be excluded from the discussions. Some clinicians are recommending that girls as young as 13 be allowed to have mastectomies. Parents are not allowed to interfere.
In Nova Scotia, children as young as 12 are being asked loaded questions, and then are being “scored” for their trans-phobia. The purpose is to teach children, and I quote: “… what thoughts and opinions are acceptable for them to think.”
Get that? Radicals in the LGBT movement are teaching kids what they are to think. This is right out of the Marxist/Fascist playbook and we tried those in the 20th century with catastrophic results.
Under Alberta’s NDP, our children are not safe from this. Dr. Kris Wells, a friend of Alberta’s Education Minister, David Eggen, oversaw the linking of pornographic sites to the taxpayer funded, Gay Straight Alliance, or GSA website. When confronted, Wells took them down, but then he attacked the mother who had found and objected to them, calling her “hysterical” and “sensationalist”.
Obviously, Kris Wells should never have a role in the education of our children. But last year, the Alberta Teachers Association, or ATA had Dr. Wells as their keynote speaker at a conference. Albertans should no longer trust the ATA, which is an all in supporter of the NDP. And Wells was never fired or reprimanded by Alberta Education, or the NDP.
In fact, now having legislated that parents must be excluded from their young children’s struggle with Gender Identity Disorder, the NDP is considering legislation that would bar adult gay and transsexual individuals from seeking transition therapy.
If someone tells you that transition therapy never works, they are either ignorant, or lying. I have met and talked to several people who have changed their orientation through psychological or spiritual counseling. And I had a transsexual friend who told me that his “gender reassignment therapy” was a terrible mistake, because it changed nothing.
So think about it. In Alberta, if a child wants to become a member of the opposite sex, the government will assist them, and, by law, exclude parents from even knowing what is going on. On the other hand, if an adult wishes to have transition therapy, it is almost certain that another NDP government will outlaw it.
Contrary to national, international, and even provincial law, the NDP government seems to believe that it is they who have a prior right to decide on the education of children, and, a right to override personal decisions made by adults. That’s TOTALITARIANISM.
So this Alberta election is extremely critical for the cultural and social health of the province, and for the safety of your children and grandchildren. If you are an Albertan 18 or over, you have a moral obligation to become informed, and to then get out and vote.
Next blog will be about Alberta’s declining FINANCES and the vanished Alberta advantage.

I subscribe to an online discussion forum called Quora, and recently a question was asked: “Do we really have 12 years to stop global warming?” To answer, David Leithauser who describes himself as a technical consultant, writer, and inventor, lays out the standard IPCC line that allowing global warming to go above 1.5 C would be very bad and above 2 C would be much worse. He goes on that we humans must decrease our greenhouse gas emissions to 20% below 2010 levels by 2030, and you know, yada yada yada.
Leithauser concludes his answer by saying: “Reversing this and reducing omission levels by even 20% below 2010 levels would require a complete international cooperation and an immediate commitment to a massive restructuring of our power, transportation, and industrial systems.”
In other words, we’ll need a world government. Considering the appalling cockup most governments at all levels make of governing, you have to be a sado-masochist or a Marxist – redundant I know – to wish for that.
The problem is that not one significant prophecy made by the Church of Global Warming Alarmism over the past 40 years has come true. We’ve passed so many “tipping points” that we’ll soon have to begin numbering them. Climategate exposed the manipulation of data, and plots to silence scientists that do not subscribe to alarmism. Warming has stalled at about 1998 levels.
(I think the bears are saying: “I hope she walks this way.”)
But there is reason for alarm. Many scientists are predicting a decades long return to colder temperatures like those experienced during the Little Ice Age which ended about 1850. In the 1700s, crops froze in July and winter shipping ended on the Thames River in London because it froze over repeatedly. As late as 1814 it froze thick enough to support a winter fair, including an elephant. If, as many credible scientists are predicting, we return to a Little Ice Age, food supplies will be severely impacted, because in addition to CO2, plants like warmth. That’s why greenhouse operators warm the air and increase CO2 levels to triple current atmospheric levels.
The Alarmism industry has had a good run. Many “scientists” such as Michael Mann (pictured), the manufacturer of an infamous hockey stick graph which somehow completely missed the Little Ice Age, have built their careers on dodgy computer modelling based on ignoring or manipulating data. Al Gore got rich enough to build another house and travel by private jet. And as you could predict, politicians have found many new and exciting ways to extract money from the citizenry.
But reality eventually bites, and in the next few decades it may present itself as frostbite. Let’s smarten up and prepare for whatever nature sends our way. Because when it comes to climate, there is little we can do about it.
Prior to the last Alberta election in 2015 I wrote a blog called: Socialism Remembered. It was about the 1945 to 2005 economic and demographic trajectories of Socialist Saskatchewan, and Market Economy Alberta. It struck a nerve and was viewed on the iwuz.me blogsite and Facebook nearly 250,000 times. Social media works, but only if you LIKE, and SHARE.
We’ve now had 4 years to observe, and live with, an NDP government’s approach to social/cultural issues, and, to economic issues. Before the election, we need to think carefully about what it has meant for parents, and their children. Next blog…. Leftwing/Socialist Culture Observed.
I had a different blog prepared for this week, but then a friend of mine sent me a link. It’s to a speech that Rex Murphy gave recently at the Vancouver Resource Investment Conference.
Now you’re all well aware that I am an admirer of Rex Murphy, and on social media I’ve often linked to his speeches saying: “Rex Murphy at his best.” Of course, a Rex Murphy speech given at his worst is better than most, and at his best is a better speech than anything that you’ll hear elsewhere in the English-speaking world.
But this speech is different. It is profoundly relevant to exactly where we are at this moment in Canadian history, particularly with Canada facing two critical elections this year.
Here’s the link I don’t care where you live; how busy you; are or of what political persuasion, you need to watch this speech. If it’s listened to, and acted on it could go a long way towards mitigating our current, dangerous, Canadian disunity, and one day be recognized as one of the most important speeches in Canadian history.
For those who like to be informed, there are a couple of really big events coming up in the next few weeks in Calgary. The first event is the Things that Matter Conference, February 8 and 9 at the Best Western, Port O’ Call. Sponsored by the Essentials of Freedom organization, it has an incredible lineup of speakers. Here are a few.
Dr. John Robson is probably Canada’s leading expert on the freedoms that have been won in the 800 years since Magna Carta, and how quickly we are losing them in Canada.
Dr. Jack Mintz of the University of Calgary is one of the world’s most respected economists, who recognizes that, financially at least, Alberta would be better off as an independent country.
Dr. Ted Morton is Canada’s leading expert on the chaotic, and grossly unfair equalization formula, and how it must be fixed.
John Carpay LL.B. is founder of the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedom, JCCF, and Canada’s strongest fighter against the erosion of our fundamental freedoms, by governments at the provincial and federal level.
Dr. Patrick Moore was a co-founder of Greenpeace. In 1971 Moore’s co-founder, Bob Hunter wrote, “Moore was quickly accepted into the inner circle (of Greenpeace) on the basis of his scientific background, his reputation [as an environmental activist], and his ability to inject practical, no-nonsense insights into the discussions.”
I’m a big believer in no-nonsense. But now, Dr. Moore repudiates Greenpeace for its utter abandonment of science in favour of political advocacy. Sadly, Greenpeace has degenerated into an organization mostly known for its stunts.
I took the trouble to look up their Board of Directors, and I couldn’t find one scientist among them. Almost every board member of this bloated, $300 million a year, emotion peddling business, has a social activist background.
We’ve been to The Essentials of Freedom Conference since its inception and it’s gotten better every year. This year will be the best yet, and there will be guests from the US and all areas of Canada, from Québec to Vancouver Island.
The other upcoming big event is Barack Obama on March 5. Obama was a community organizer who became President of the United States from January 2009 to January 2017.
During his time as President, Barack Obama doubled the US national debt; ignored the rise of ISIS in the Middle East leading to one of the biggest humanitarian crises so far in the 21st century; foolishly declared that the Cold War was over and stood by while Vladimir Putin rolled his tanks over his neighbours; and, by constantly and prematurely injecting himself into domestic racial incidents, set back American race relations by two generations.
Meritha and I are already registered for one of these events, and you can guess which one it is. Hope to see you there!
In Alberta, it now seems that every time something comes up regarding an LGBT issue, Kristopher Wells pops up as the go to expert; always against parents, and always on the side of “progress” Let’s look at what Kristopher Wells means by progress.
Wells is a professor, and a confidant of Alberta’s Education Minister, David Eggen. About three years ago, Mr. Eggen engaged Wells to supervise the construction and launch of Alberta Education’s Gay Straight Alliance, or GSA, website. For several months no one paid attention, but then, Edmonton mother, Theresa Ng who is now with Parents for Choice, decided to have a look.
Ms. Ng found numerous links from the GSA website to sexually explicit sites. If you haven’t already, it’s very important that you follow the link. You need to be aware of these sites, included the one that gave instructions on “25 sex positions you can try at home”, and another on how to give oral sex. For 5 years and up?!
When confronted with absoluteproof of the links – Theresa Ng had presciently taken screenshots of the linked websites – the links were removed. But then Kristopher Wells took to social media to denounce Ms. Ng for being “hysterical” and “sensationalist.” Are you serious? In what demented world is a mother being hysterical by objecting to explicitly sexual content being provided, unbeknownst to her, to her children?
Judging by his verbal attack on Theresa Ng, Mr. Wells feels that making such material available to five, six, seven, and eight-year-olds is desirable. Anyone that thinks that way is, at the very least, exhibiting an appalling lack of judgment. There might also be serious psychological issues involved, for which Mr. Wells would deserve our sympathy.
But in either or both cases, Mr. Wells should not be allowed to have anything whatsoever to do with the education of Alberta’s children. Yet Mr. Wells is still looked to as an advisor by Education Minister David Eggen; and was the keynote speaker at an Alberta Teachers Association conference last summer. Alberta parents, that middle finger was for you.
Wells is also used as a source by the media, including, the Calgary Herald, the Calgary Sun, the CBC, and the consistently ridiculous, Star Metro. That the media would look to such an individual for comment says volumes about media elitists disdain for science, decency, and basic common sense, and their insouciant disregard for the innocence of children.
Or maybe they’re just too lazy to investigate, and can thereby claim ignorance. Whatever; when a member of the media quotes Kristopher Wells be aware that he’s the guy who thinks it’s OK to provide Alberta’s little children with quick access to explicit sexual instructions.
These facts tell you everything you need to know before you vote in the upcoming Alberta election. Because, knowing all these facts – and she must have – Rachel Notley has continued with David Eggen as Minister of Education, which, in practical terms, makes her complicit in what normal people would see as the corruption of minors.
Here’s what Pennsylvania law says regarding the corruption of minors. “(ii) Whoever, being of the age of 18 years and upwards, by any course of conduct in violation of Chapter 31 (relating to sexual offenses) corrupts or tends to corrupt the morals of any minor less than 18 years of age, or who aids, abets, entices or encourages any such minor in the commission of an offense under Chapter 31 commits a felony of the third degree.” Under 18? What about providing sexually explicit material to children under 8?
Luckily for Ms. Notley, Mr. Eggen, and Mr. Wells, they live in Alberta, because in Pennsylvania it’s possible they could be charged with a felony and imprisoned. Not a bad idea in my opinion, but in Alberta, the best we can do and must do, four months from now, is throw the creeps out!

Early 2019. This an update to a blog I published on November 15, 2018. The original blog was viewed thousands of times in nearly 50 countries, so I’d like to provide some context for non Canadians.
The NDP is a party in Canada that defines itself as moderately socialist, or Social Democrat. It, (and other left wing parties), has recently become distinctly totalitarian in its ideological approach to many issues, most notably, its sexualization of education from kindergarten through high school. They apparently see no difference between 7 and 17 year olds. What I wrote about has come, or will be coming to your country, unless perhaps you live in Saudi Arabia.
This blog is for our children and grandchildren.
At a conference held in Calgary, Canada on Saturday, November 10, 2018, John Carpay, founder of the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedom, made the mistake of putting Nazi and Communist symbols and the rainbow flag in the same sentence. The left lost its mind. Admittedly, in the context of the “gotcha” times in which we live, John’s wording was an invitation for left-wing organizations and commentators to summon their enormous reserves of self-righteous, and entirely hypocritical, indignation.
The Calgary Herald’s Don Braid puffed that, “Vile” is a mild word for John Carpay’s linking of the swastika and the hammer and sickle with the rainbow flag of Gay Pride.” Braid went on: “How is it “hostility toward individual freedoms” when LGBTQ kids are at last accorded some official respect and acceptance — when they are, in fact, granted individual freedom?”
Individual freedom for five, six, seven, and eight-year-olds? Now there’s a postmodern spin on freedom. Freedom from what? Their parents? Freedom to have the nanny-state guide them from what is, almost always, a temporary childhood gender identity confusion, into a permanent state of gender crisis? Freedom for the government to help tomboyish little girls as young as three begin transitioning from their birth gender, to becoming a “chemicals and cosmetics boy”, and freedom for the government to pass a law that says, the parents cannot be told?
Those so-called laws are nationally and internationally, illegal. They are also totalitarian, unscientific, and plainly constitute child abuse. At least, so say many objective scientists in the field of childhood gender identity disorder.
Nazi Germany and Communist Russia and Maoist China all believed in the supremacy of the state, and, as Joseph Goebbels, Hitler’s propaganda minister boasted: “The youth belong to us.” And now by their decision to illegally prevent the parents of children as young as five from being told about the sexual identity confusion that their child is experiencing, the NDP is signalling that, exactly like the Nazis, it’s their view that parents and families are subordinate to the state.
But again, regarding children’s rights, Don Braid says that: “Any attempt to limit those rights is not a subject for legitimate debate, any more than the rainbow flag is a swastika.” Well Mr. Braid, to be clear, no one, including John Carpay, has ever said the rainbow flag is a swastika. (The notion that children’s rights have no limitations is mindless nonsense)
Actually, limiting the rights of parents to know what’s happening to their children, and, interfering in a child’s right to have the support of their parents is very Nazi-ish, and is most decidedly a topic for a legitimate debate, especially when the government imposing the limits looks for guidance to individuals like Dr. Kristopher Wells. (pictured)
Wells is a professor, and a confidant of Alberta’s education Minister, David Eggen. Mr. Eggen engaged Wells to supervise the construction and launch of Alberta’s Gay Straight Alliance, or GSA, website. For several months, no one paid attention. And then, Edmonton mother, Theresa Ng who is now with Parents for Choice, decided to have a look.
Ms. Ng found numerous links from the Wells supervised GSA website to sexually explicit sites. These sites included one that gave instructions on 25 sexual positions you can try at home, and another on how to give oral sex. There was also a description of felching, a practice so sickening and perverted that I’ll let you look it up for yourself. Remember, the GSA website is government approved for ages five through high school. It’s obviously not approved by parents.
I can imagine NDP supporters saying, actually I’ve talked to NDP supporters who say that they simply can’t believe that what I’m telling them is true. Sadly, it is, and here’s proof. Please scroll all the way to the bottom of the 20 PDFs, because this is what was being provided for your children and grandchildren, and you need to know.
When confronted with proof of the links – Theresa Ng had presciently taken screenshots of the linked websites – the links were removed. But then Kristopher Wells took to social media to denounce Ms. Ng for being “hysterical” and “sensationalist.” Seriously? A mother objecting to explicitly sexual content being provided to her children, without her knowledge or consent, is being hysterical and sensationalist? In what dystopian reality does Mr. Wells live? Again, here’s the link. You decide.
It’s beyond my comprehension, but Kristopher Wells is still an advisor to the NDP Alberta government, and earlier this year was the keynote speaker at an Alberta Teachers Association (ATA) conference. As a parent, does that make you feel comfortable? As an NDP or Progressivist supporter, does that make you feel comfortable? Does it make Don Braid feel comfortable?
Did this cartoon equating Christians to Nazis and ISIS, published on Twitter by Kristopher Wells in June 2016, inspire Don Braid to somewhere call it “vile”? I couldn’t find it. Wells has never apologized, and the CBC, and the Metro Star, a local publication of the almost comically Progressivist Toronto Star, seem to be okay with the cartoon, and with Well’s lack of apology.
I was at the conference at which Mr. Carpay spoke and I listened to his entire speech. Full disclosure: I know John Carpay, and I know with absolute certainty, that to suggest that he broadly equates the rainbow flag with Nazi-ism or Communism is utter nonsense. John is simply one of Canada’s most effective defenders of freedom and so the Progressivist Left hates him.
When a very moderate conservative like John Carpay inadvertently uses words in a way that can be spun negatively, Leftist Progressivists like Don Braid and the left wing media reveal themselves as total hypocrites, and purveyors of fake news.
Because when extremist and totalitarian minded leftists equate Christians with Nazis and ISIS, and defend the radical and extreme sexualization of little children, and specifically associate themselves with the rainbow flag, then people like Don Braid and the Progressivist Left go silent. Instead they use these same extremists as “sources”, and “trusted advisors” and “keynote speakers”.
Back to you Mr. Braid.
I’m Dave Reesor.

**In April 2019, the NDP was thrown out of office, and replaced by a more conservative party which is rolling back some of the more extreme ideas of the radicals. But the extremist Progressivists are resisting every step of the way.
Recent issues of The Economist magazine included articles that suggest that they have decided to make some tentative steps back towards responsible journalism.
The first was about Donald Trump’s foreign policy, for which they still had plenty of criticism. But after much to-ing and fro-ing, there came this statement. “Mr. Trump’s foreign policy team appears to be working more effectively than some of its predecessors.” After double checking to make sure I was reading The Economist, I sent them a note congratulating them on their baby step back towards objectivity.
Then a couple of weeks later they featured a lengthy article on transgender-ism entitled: “The body of law”. This time, again contrary to my expectations, The Economist was exceptionally objective.
Transgender-ism has been around for a long time, but it’s always been regarded as a disorder. In ancient times, i.e., the 90s, it was actually believed that if you were born with male genitalia, you were a male, and if you were born with female genitalia you were a female.
Not so say the activists, and Alberta’s (current) government. If you’re a boy and you feel like a girl, well then, Bob’s your uncle and you’re a girl! And you get to use the girl’s washroom, and showers! Real girls feel uncomfortable about that? “Suck it up sisters” says Alberta’s oh so Progressivist government. (They also apparently think it’s okay for little kids as young as five to have access to websites telling them about things like 25 sex positions you can try at home, and how to give oral sex. But that was another blog.)
Children are under tremendous pressure, from people who should be protecting them, to become sexually active, and to get involved in the Progressivist flavor of the month, currently, transgenderism. The Economist says, sensibly, that maybe we should proceed with caution.
It’s insanity, but some clinics in the United States are supporting gender transition; i.e., change of name, pronouns and clothing, for children as young as three. They’re recommending mastectomies for girls as young as 13. This is the stuff that should send you to jail, or a mental institution.
The American Academy of Pediatrics endorses this “hurry up and transition” approach, saying delay harms children unnecessarily. Then they cite scientific papers to justify their position, when those same papers actually refute their position. There is no credible research that backs their position, so they count on people’s ignorance on the issue to slide the lie past. I’ve read about AAP for years, and they’ve long since been taken over by radicals from the LGBT community.
The more scientifically minded American College of Pediatricians, (ACP), correctly calls the foolishness endorsed by the AAP, child abuse.
In Britain little kids are officially being taught that “Gender is much more than the body you were born with.” There’s a “Kids Guide to Gender Identity” for five-year-olds which tells them that, “Kids know a lot about themselves. They know who they are by how they feel inside.” So, 21st century Postmodernism has abolished gender identity disorder. Ignore that penis. If you feel like a girl, you are a girl!
**How crazy can it get? Figure out the photo if you can.
And there’s the safety issue. Radicals want transgendered individuals to use the showers and change rooms that correspond with the gender they have chosen, not their genitalia. But surveys show that mixed sex changing rooms are where most sexual assaults happen. The Alberta government wants them in your school. Are you listening?
The Economist suggested that “To resolve the conflicts between trans rights, and the rights of natal women and children … (those who identify with their birth gender – parenthesis mine) … requires research, and reasoned debate”. I’d suggest that a small dose of common sense could resolve the issue more quickly.
And here it is, an Alberta policy spelled out by The Economist. “If a child expresses a transgender identity to a teacher, trans rights guides say that there is no need to tell parents.” But in Rachel Notley’s Alberta, a new law says that teachers can nottell the parents, even if they think they should.
Alberta’s current government has gone leading-edge lunacy on this anti-science, child abusive craziness. I suspect they’ll be thrown out in the next election.
